Pick up at the hotel or Riad where you are staying at 8:30 am to Imlil. We will cross Tahnaout and head south to
the gorges of Moulay Brahim, and to Asni, where you can enjoy a weekly Berber market every Saturday. Next we will
head to Imlil (1,740 m), located in the Western Atlas Mountains. It is an area of difficult relief, which is only
accessible by a road that reaches the center of the valley and from which the tracks of the different douares leave,
quiet mountain villages fully adapted to the nature that surrounds them. We arrive at Imlil, where we will leave our
vehicle, and we will meet your local guide before leaving about 4 km of excursion to the south, to the Berber
village of (Aremd) (1,843 m), passing through the hamlets of souka ait, Targa, and Imoula, and before us, we will
have – Jbels Aguelzim (3,547 m), Aksouâl (3,847 m) and the Adrar Adj (3,122 m) watching us all the way. We will
continue our walk to Aremd where we will stop to visit this unique place, a village in the valley of Aït Mizane
Assif, overlooking the old fields of barley, corn, irrigated vegetables on terraces and always surrounded by almond
and walnut trees. All these particularities make this landscape and this place, an ideal place to spend a rural day
very close to Marrakech, ideal for nature lovers. The hike continues another half hour to the lunch stop to be
served among a Berber family in the village of Achayn. After lunch, we will return across the valley back to Imlil
to Marrakech.
