Next we will head to Imlil (1,740 m), located in the Western Atlas Mountains. It is an area of difficult relief, which is only accessible by a road that reaches the center of the valley and from which the tracks of the different douares leave, quiet mountain villages fully adapted to the nature that surrounds them. We arrive at Imlil, where we will leave our vehicle, and we will meet your local guide before leaving about 4 km of excursion to the south, to the Berber village of (Aremd) (1,843 m), passing through the hamlets of souka ait, Targa, and Imoula, and before us, we will have – Jbels Aguelzim (3,547 m), Aksouâl (3,847 m) and the Adrar Adj (3,122 m) watching us all the way. We will continue our walk to Aremd where we will stop to visit this unique place, a village in the valley of Aït Mizane Assif, overlooking the old fields of barley, corn, irrigated vegetables on terraces and always surrounded by almond and walnut trees. All these particularities make this landscape and this place, an ideal place to spend a rural day very close to Marrakech, ideal for nature lovers.
